Pajama kids :)

There is just something that I love about pajamas! On a cold winter nite, I love warm fuzzy flannel pajamas  and hot coco by the fire place, and I love sexy short ones on a summer day.

On Christmas morning, my hubby and I wear matching red pajamas (or lounge wear as he would like to call them) and santa hats. The kids get a kick out of it lol :)

It's also nice to see children and grandchildren opening presents on Christmas morning in pajamas.

So....... with my love of Pajamas, Kelly & Tommy dolls, I decided to do a few repaints.

Here is the Photo shoot of the first my Pajama kids.

Removal of the factory painted face.

Forming the face :)

mmm, starting to think of a name for him.

Introducing Kirk.
Kirk is a repainted Tommy Doll.
He has been repainted using
artistic acrylics and sealers.
He is wearing custom made Pj's
featuring Toy Story logo and pic.
Fun magazine cover featuring Kirk.

You flock, I flock, we all flock together?

Ok so.. remember that bunch of dolls that I got from my niece? Well let me tell you! I was going thru them and came across this one who was just irking my nerves to be done! I set her on my work space and for a week I kept looking at her and trying to rack my brain around what the heck to do with her. Then Bam! The light bulb moment happens. Behold the flocking of the lamb LOL

Ok seriously though... I just had to get all my flocking jokes out LOL

The sacrificial Lamb :)

I think she is princess Jasmime??  Not sure.

After hair and face removal. It all had to go!
The removal of the hair is a job in itself!

After the flocking. Champ. blonde was used.

Starting the repaint. That look so creepy LOL.
I have the habit of putting the dolls like this
right in my hubby's face and ask "how about a kiss"
LOL He just looks at me like I have lost my mind.

After her repaint, and trip to the designer.

Introducing Dena. She proudly sits
on top of my nightstand

Chilling with a few of my other dolls on my
nightstand. Oh look, there is a pic of my hubby.
Reverend Hampton :) and a wee pic of me in the
background in a pic from my day job :)

She looks kinda at home on my nightstand so
I guess I will leave her there.

Dena is wearing a beautiful smile, along with a
black satin halter top. The skirt was snatched off
a S.I.S doll. Dena wears hand made flower earrings
and a belly chain made of sterling silver wire.
She has had a full face repaint using artistic acrylics
and sealers and has been flocked :D

For the Love of Football

Ok, so here's the thing... In my house there are a few things that rule. 1st one is God, who is the head of our lives.  2nd is my love of Barbie. Loved her as a child and love her even more as an adult. The 3rd is Football! Yeah go Eagles!!
Besides Barbie's, there is a massive amount of Eagle stuff around here. My husband is always asking me "why don't you do a Eagle Barbie"? So..... having heard him after the 100th time, here is my Barbie Football photo shoot in honor of our team The Philadelphia Eagles :)

* In addition to my set, I also did a set (a few months ago) for a coworker and his wife who are also huge fans.
* Another note, I also love the Cowboys :) (just had to do a set of them as well, for a coworker of course LOL) That photo shoot at a later date :)

S.I.S repainted Barbie

Full face repaints

I just had to flock his hair! That painted hair
makes my skin crawl LOL

S.I.S and My Ken doll before repaint.

Laughing Deer. A Fancy Shawl Dancer

Bath fun play Barbie, purchased at
Walmart.

Before a trip to the spa and designer.

Fancy shawl dancing is a Native American Indian
woman's face paced dance style most often done
during Pow wow's.

Laughing deer's face has been painted
using artistic acrylics and sealers.
She is wearing face paint and her hair
is braided into two long braids.

The fancy shawl regalia accentuates the
movement of the dancer.

The outfit is a Native American Indian
adorned dress, including feathers and beads. It
also includes moccasins and of course a
beautiful fancy shawl.

The shawl is worn draped over the shoulders
and is made of colorful light weight fabrics.
It is decorated with paints and brilliant designs,
which are accentuated by the dancers movements.

Material used for the shawl was a scarf
I purchased from Michael's.
Moccasins coordinate the fancy shawl.

This doll was commissioned by a
Native American Indian friend of mine.
She now resides on the reservation with her :)

Mary's Makeover

This is Mary before her trip to the salon. She
can't decide which material she would like
to have her dress made from.  Decisions, and
more decisions.
I found this material in Michaels store. They
were two bucks each. Not a bad deal for a new
dress huh?

Mary after her trip to the salon and the dress maker.
She is wearing a front twisted up do with ponytail
to the side, adorned with flowers.
Her face has been repainted with artistic acrylics
and sealers. I removed the pink factory lipstick and
left them natural with a slight gloss.

The dress has hand applied glitter and design.

A shoulder wrap accompanies the dress.

Mary is wearing spiral earrings made from sterling silver.

Glamour shot

Mary's debut on the cover of a magazine :)

Full view of the dress.

Mary was created for my favorite Aunt Mary for her birthday :)
Excuse the Sephora bag lol. I ran out of my signature bags for my dolls:)
