Introducing Gabrielle
Introducing Gabrielle. Gabby is a repainted Brandy doll (sorry, I forgot to take the before pic) She was repainted using artistic acrylics and sealers. She is wearing a jogging suit in a soft pastel color. Her jewelry has been hand made, as well as her chopstick hair ornaments.
Here is Gabby relaxing on her bed watching T.V. All of the furniture was constructed using boxes , cardboard, and beads. The covering on the bed is from scrap material. The lamps are made from craft beads and paper. The books were made using cardboard and paper. T.V. is made from cardboard and black tape. The picture on the wall above the bed was painted, feathered and glittered by me :) Flooring is from Home Depot.
Gabby is very lovely and I adore the room decor. Thanks for letting me know which show she was watching. At first glance, I wondered if that was "Florida Evans" from Good Times.
Beautiful! Both doll and room. Girl, you are amazing. I love everything about this diorama. That picture is very nice. You paint so well, so I shouldn't be surprised that you are an artist too. The lamps are adorable and love her bedding.
I'm going to have to whip out my thesaurus to get more adjectives to describe how wonderful your work is! You are going to make a book so I can see all your works up close and personal and then mooch your designs, right? Right??
Thanks Rossetti. Yes all of the furniture is made from me. The bed is made using a Barbie Basic box/with added cardboard for the attached shelf. The dresser with the tv on it is made from using a Barbie basic accessory box. The other large dresser is made by using a wheat thin cracker box. All was covered with electrical and duct tape. The bed was covered with an old olive green tee shirt material and the black dressy material on top :) It was all finished with throw pillows and accented with beads.
Thanks Limbe dolls, Yes I did the artwork on the wall. It is a replica painted by me of and actual one on my wall at home . The one on the wall is huge and takes up almost an entire wall LOL. I just happened to think It would look cool in Gabby's room. It took me three days just to do that painting alone lol
Hello yes, I got it yesterday my girl's were so happy. They send big hugs and thank you's to you and big thanks from me. Your dolls is even beautiful in person Thank you!!!!:)
Hello from Spain: I like the room of Gabrielle. The furniture is very nice. I like the pictures hanging on the wall. You make a very real and elegant room. Gabrielle with white coat is very pretty. Keep in touch.
