Introducing Sharice
Sharice wanted a nice wardrobe, however she didn't want to spend the $70.00 bucks that Barbie Collector was selling it for. I helped her out and made one for her. Mind you the BC one is very lovely!
No disrespect to the ones that did buy it. I say enjoy it!! As for me, I am crafty and frugal when it
comes to certain things :-)
To make this , I used a Fashion Royalty box (formerly owned by Darius Reed) some craft board and spray paint. The rest is odds and ends from Michaels and dollar store stuff. The clothing and accessories
was stuff I have acquired over time :-)
Introducing Sharice. She is a S.I.S repaint |
Uggh, now I need to hire a hair dresser! I am having one of those crazy hair days! |

You did a great job on Sharice and on her new wardrobe! Everything looks great. These photos are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Roxanne. Thanks for popping by.
DeleteSharice is very beautiful, and the wardrobe is just perfect! I'm like you, I prefer creating than buying, it's not just cheaper, but I think is also more gratifying... Great job!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rossetti, you are 100% right about it being gratifying! I love seeing what my mind can come up with! The possibilities are endless LOL
DeleteI say Sharice is a really lucky girl! You did a fantastic job on making the wardrobe -- it looks fab. Your last photo is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThanks corsetkitten, I happen to like the last photo as well. It was a huge feat trying to keep my hand and camera out of the shot in the mirror lol. I wound up blurring it out anyway.
DeleteAs is always the case, Sharice is lovely! But man oh man that wardrobe is phenomenal! You did a great job with it!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much DLSarmywife.
DeleteSharice is gorgeous and so is the wardrobe! Great job on both!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Mattel's wardrobe has nothing on yours. : )
Hey friend, thank you! Have a blessed week.
DeleteI have several dolls that need a finished wardrobe so I really enjoyed this post! This is a great little job you on the whole room and the doll. I loved the little pull out draw at the bottom. It looks so neat. Not like how my own draws look most days. Did you make the PJ's and slipper? Too cute.
ReplyDeleteHey Ms. Leo, I know what you mean LOL. Now the other ladies want their own wardrobe! Thanks for your comment. I happen to love the little draw at the bottom as well. Sherice is a stickler for order :0) and loves things organized.
DeleteI did not make the PJ's or slippers. That was given to me from my dolly playdate pal. She is always blessing me with things.
Great job on the wardrobe and the doll! I love the whole room.
ReplyDeleteThanks Vanessa.
DeleteI'm loving that wardrobe!! Your dolls are pretty as usual!
ReplyDeleteThanks Brini :-)
DeleteWow... this is very impressive. I guess there's a reason I've saved my FR boxes and some of the other nicer, sturdier boxes. You could sell these!
ReplyDeleteSharice is lovely, too.

Thanks Debbie. I recently acquired several new Homme's to my collection. I think I will use all of their boxes to make a few more. Perhaps a few for Christmas presents!
DeleteLove the wardrobe. I should get busy and make one too!
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: congratulations for this great work. You have a lot of skill. I really like the photos .. We remain in contact blog blog
ReplyDeleteHey Marta, thanks so much :-) hugs
ReplyDeleteLucky Sharice! Great new look, cool fashions, and a personalized wardrobe. Thanks for sharing this project, Chynadoll!
ReplyDeleteP.S. her pjs are Barbie issue. I had one NRFC - which I opened. It is sooo cute ;-)
I think I like your wardrobe better than Barbie Collectors! You have embellishments and style. :)
ReplyDeleteYou did a FABULOUS job on the repaint and room decor. Love it!!
Wow! Now that's one amazing wardrobe. Love that vanity too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to use your doll boxes and keep your doll clothes neat. That is one very lucky doll.
