Saying goodbye to a dear friend.

I had been thinking of my dolly thrift store buddy and friend for some time now and every now and again I would check her fb page to see if she posted anything or there was news of her getting better. I checked today because today is her birthday. Little did I know I would find out about her passing. My heart is deeply saddened by this news.

Until We Meet Again" To A Dear Friend From Perth Amboy, Frances Jekelis Tripka
                                                             ~ Frannnie ~

Many of Us Just "Met" the Lady, but she made Us All Feel Like We Knew Her All Our Lives.

Fran, you were such a good kind person. Such a strong woman. Such a fighter. Your positive attitude was infectious. Thank you so much for everything you have done for the children and the city of Perth Amboy. May the rest of us make half the difference that you did in your life. I am so sorry. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

"Only time moves on to the next scene. Memory remains part of the heart forever."
May The Lord Bless You and Keep You Near His Side. Until We Meet Again my friend.

  2. I've been thinking about her because I hadn't seen any posts in quite some time. This is very sad news. I was not fortunate enough to have met her in person but have "chatted" with her via blog comments. She was such a wonderful person and will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and all dollie community. :(

  8. So sorry to hear this. I had been thinking about Frannie too and checked her blog recently to see if I had missed any updates. It worried me that there were none, but I had hoped for the best.

If there's a thrift store in heaven, I'm sure Frannie knows about it.

    May she rest peacefully.

  9. My heart is aching. I have been thinking about her ever since her last post. I reached out to her a few times, but no response. I was really too afraid to know. She was such a caring person. I never had the pleasure of meeting her in person, but she reached out to me on several occasions. Thanks for letting us know.

  13. Thanks Cecile for sharing the news. I also checked her blog from time to time to see if I had missed a post. I continued to pray that her absence meant that she was doing better, but taking time to relax. This has really sadden me.
