Chantal

Introducing Chantal..


Chantal is a S.I.S Chandra repaint. She is one among many that I have repainted. I recently came into possession of several so bare with me as I slowly post their transformations:)


Here is Chantal..


Chantal has been repainted using artistic acrylics and sealers.
She is holding a handmade book by muff Thanks Muff
for these fab books :)

Here Earrings are handmade as well by Susan Cottrell.

    Chantal is rocking the tat! She is a beauty. When I saw the pictures on FB, I thought, "oh she made some books". I see now that you cheated. LOL! Congrats on getting them. Every time I see an empty bookcase I think about them. One day. One day.

      Thanks. As far as the books, not cheating when you give credit where its due:) besides, there are not enough hours in my day to fight crime, repaint and..... Make books geez lol!

    She looks so vibrant! I would not have thought that blue eyes would work, but paired with the tattoo she looks like she's from this hip other world... and she obviously has good taste since she's reading my books. LOL!

    @Vanessa - Next time I get another Barbie Collector issue I'll make some more books and see who is up for a little tradie trade.

      @ Muff - The new BC arrived in the mail yesterday. I thought of you. When I venture to the basement today, I will see if I can put my hands on my cutter. I really want to do this project because it will be valuable information as I try to fill up all the bookcases around here. You could have a steady little business selling those.

    I love the large eyes! They look dreamy. Did you make the outfit too? She is really lovely...great job!
    BTW, how did you get a load of Chandras?

      Thanks Ms Leo, I did make the shirt, but the shorts are from a S.I.S doll. Forgot which one lol.
      The Chandra came into my possession from several dolly friends:)

    Chantel is gorgeous!! I love her tat and eyes. The color is captivating. Love the books. I wish I had the time to make some...maybe one day. Congrats on being blessed with several SIS dolls. Dolly friends are the best!

    Hi from Spain: Chantal is a beautiful doll. Muff's books are very nice. Handmade earrings are fabulous. I love blue eyes in contrast with hair color. She is very attractive. Great work as always. Keep in touch
