Lets Ride

Hey all, thanks for all your prayers and concern for me and my family during hurricane Sandy. We survived and thank God for it.

After the storm & once we got our lights & power back on, we opened our home to many folks  in need of a hot cooked meal, warmth, charging of their electronics and  a word of prayer.

I was inspired to do this next repaint after meeting a special little person during that time.

Her name is Lailah. Her family lives in the next development over from me. They were one of the families that came by for food and warmth for a few days. They just got their power back on today!

Lailah and her entire family were such a delight to get to know. Once I showed Lailah my doll room,  I made a new friend for life LOL. I promised her that my next doll would be named after her.

                                              Lailah

Lailah is a repainted S.I.S doll.

She is sporting a
tee shirt made by me. The motorcycle & outfits are from the
flavas line .

Laliah is on a liv body ;-)

  4. Having been through Katrina, I empathize with the disruption Sandy caused for you and your neighbors. I am glad that your house was not badly damaged and that you were able to help others who were not so fortunate.

I have always loved the name Lailah. I believe it means "night" in Arabic. Lailah and Trey make a gorgeous couple!

  5. Happy to hear that you are okay. I was following your FB pictures the day after the storm. I prayed and I have donated to the American Cross for Sandy victims. Nice that you were able to take in those in need. I'm sure little Lailah will remember her time spent with you and your dolls. Nice when there's a bright spot amidst so much devastation. Loved these pictures!

  6. I'm sure the original Lailah is delighted with that gorgeous repaint. I'm relieved you and your family are fine, here we had some images from the hurricane effects and they were terrifying. I'm sure your home was a light in the mid of darkness for many people.
