Keep pursuing your dreams, listen to God and stay sweet.

  7. We have to support our young people and we then do well, that is the reward. Your niece is beautiful and has done well. I wish her the best of luck.
The doll is beautiful too. I love the hand painted detail on her skirt. Is that an image from her sorority or just something you decided to paint?

  8. Thank you Ms. Leo, the detailed painting on her skirt is not from her sorority. It is from a picture I found online on a black art website. I forget the artist at this time :) but I just loved it so much, I decided to try and repaint it. I hope I did it justice lol. I will be posting another little wee three friends doll which I also hand painted. She has a picture called God Bless The Child.

  9. There I go again, tearing up. I never know what will bring on the tears.(Quiet Debbie). What a sweet post. I love seeing our young people doing well. She looks like a very sweet person. Everytime I choose a favorite doll, you come with another beauty. I LOVE this doll. There is something in the eyes. I love the eye color, too.

  10. Thanks Vanessa. I feel you on the tears, I was kinda teary eyed when she was finished. It just amazes me how somehow, a few of the dolls that I have done for my friends and family start to resemble them. Not 100% but just enough for the recipient to see it as well. I am not a portrait painter (yet lol) It just happens to flow thru my hands I guess. This doll represents Canon's style fashion as well. She is always dressed in killer pumps and clothing. I guess being a size tiny helps LOL. I would have to say right now, this doll is up there with my favorite 10 LOL
